About Me

I began taking photos at a young age, and used my first DSLR in 2002, when I went to University and took my first photography and advertising courses. I learned the fundamentals then of the importance of using imagery to tell a bigger story. Subsequent to completing my degree, I worked in advertising as a graphic designer for the Smithsonian, and then for various technology companies as a designer and writer. I began my own photography business in 2016 as I realized that I wanted to get back to my artistic roots, and also to help businesses and people to tell their stories to the world through photographs. 

I would love to hear about you and the message you want to share. Photography is more than just a picture, and I look forward to helping you share images that you are proud of, in a way that tells your story. 

Outside of work, I am spending time with my husband, two little children, and two dogs. When I am not taking photographs, I am cooking, staying active, travelling, writing, enjoying a latte.
